Satirical Resignation of CJP Founder Sparks Controversy Over Tribal Deaths in Madhya Pradesh

Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), posted a satirical resignation letter on X on September 13, 2026, pretending to step down as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. In the letter, Dipke targeted the Mohan Yadav government over the deaths of more than 30 tribal children in the Balaghat district, which are allegedly due to infectious diseases. He questioned the adequacy of the 4 lakh rupee compensation provided to the families of 24 deceased children and cited failures in tribal welfare, education, and water supply. The Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued notices to the state Health Department and other officials following a public interest litigation that alleged inadequate treatment and poor sanitary conditions in the region.

The satirical post triggered a social media row. Some users supported Dipke's criticism of the government, while others, including BJP workers, accused him of the misuse of official letterhead and the unauthorized use of the State Emblem of India. Some critics demanded that an FIR be registered against Dipke for fraudulent impersonation of a high office.

This incident followed a visit by Dipke to the villages of Adori, Korka, and Bondari on Saturday. During the visit, a viral video showed Dipke being confronted by social media influencers. One woman asked if he had come to do politics on corpses and questioned the timing of his visit. CJP workers eventually moved Dipke to another car to remove him from the escalating situation. Local journalists noted that the presence of outside influencers in the remote village was surprising.
