Lucas, a singer from the sertaneja duo Lucas & Matheus, died this Saturday (15) in Portugal. According to family members, Lucas suffered a heart attack during the early hours of the morning at his apartment. He remained active in his musical career and had a performance scheduled for this Saturday.
The death was announced by the Portuguese record label Espacial, which described Lucas as a marking voice and a beloved artist. The duo, originally from Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, achieved significant success in Europe and sold over 7 million copies of their work. Lucas's original partner, Matheus, died in 2020 from Covid 19 in a hospital in Presidente Prudente.
