Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Seven men were arrested and remain in custody after four men were stabbed during an altercation on Bromley High Street in south east London on Thursday afternoon. Metropolitan Police responded to the scene at approximately 2:15 pm. Four men were found with stab wounds; three are receiving treatment for non life threatening injuries, while one remains in critical condition.
Emergency responders, including the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance, treated the patients at the scene before transporting them to the hospital. Forensic officers and a crime scene photographer were seen working inside and outside a KFC restaurant where the incident occurred. The area remained cordoned off on Thursday evening, leading to the closure of parts of the High Street, Elmfield Road, and Ethelbert Road. Approximately 15 bus routes, including the 61, 208, and 119, were diverted.
Witnesses described the event as quick, with one local business owner reporting that he had to shelter an elderly woman in his shop as people ran from the KFC. Peter Fortune, the MP for Bromley and Biggin Hill, stated that he is aware of the incident and will remain in close contact with police as they investigate. The Metropolitan Police stated that they do not believe there is any wider threat to the public. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
