- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
Every outlet covering this story shares the same political lean; read with that in mind.
Colombian singer Shakira arrived at Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas airport on Monday, September 14, to begin a residency of 12 concerts as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. The performances will take place at the Iberdrola Music venue in Villaverde, with the first show scheduled for Friday, September 18. The residency continues through September and October, with dates on September 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, and October 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11. It is expected that over 600,000 people will attend the series of events. Upon her arrival, Shakira spoke with fans about her vision for the tour, which she described as a celebration of Latin culture involving art, cinema, and gastronomy. She stated that she chose Madrid because Latin immigration is celebrated in Spain, noting that this embrace has made the country more creative and youthful. The tour promotes her album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which was released in March 2024.
