The jury for the German Book Prize has announced the six novels remaining in the running for the award. The shortlist includes works by Dana Vowinckel, Shida Bazyar, Valeria Gordeev, Elias Hirschl, Peggy Mädler, and Franziska Gänsler. The winner will be announced on the evening of October 5 at the Frankfurter Römer, receiving 25,000 euros in prize money, while the other five candidates will receive 2,500 euros each.
