Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

A Singapore family court has granted a man a personal protection order (PPO) against his wife after she sent him AI generated obscene images and videos depicting him and his sister engaging in sexual acts. The court ruled that these actions amounted to family violence and inflicted emotional and psychological abuse on the husband. The conflict reportedly began after the man agreed to contribute S$100,000 toward his father's medical bills and informed his wife that he had transferred approximately S$65,000 to his sister. The wife, who had an acrimonious relationship with her sister in law, did not dispute sending the messages and stated she used a free application to create the images. Magistrate Soh Kian Peng described the messages as hideously offensive and vile, noting that the husband had lost weight precipitously and appeared tormented during the trial. In addition to the PPO, the magistrate ordered the couple to attend counseling. Due to the wife's history of two admissions to the Institute of Mental Health, the court also called for a preliminary assessment report to determine if mandatory psychiatric treatment is necessary.
