- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

French astronaut Sophie Adenot began her third space walk in two weeks on Tuesday, September 1. The mission is a 100 percent female operation conducted on the International Space Station (ISS) alongside American astronaut Jessica Meir. Adenot is serving as the leader of the duo for this outing, which is expected to last approximately six and a half hours.
The pair is tasked with replacing a retroreflector used for vehicle navigation and preparing a cosmic particle detector. Their objectives also include installing data relay cables and replacing a high definition camera on the ISS beam. Adenot and Meir have been on the station since February 13 as part of the Crew-12 mission.
This marks Adenot's third extravehicular activity since August 18, when she became the first French astronaut to venture into space. Following her second walk, Adenot described the experience as a mental victory and noted the extreme physical exhaustion caused by the spacesuit. She is scheduled to complete her mission this autumn.
