Senior defense officials from South Korea and Japan met on Tuesday during the Seoul Defense Dialogue to reaffirm that trilateral cooperation with the United States is vital for peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and the broader region. South Korean Vice Defense Minister Lee Doo-hee and his Japanese counterpart, Atsushi Ando, pledged to expand defense exchanges based on mutual trust and understanding.
