- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

South Korean national team player and WNBA athlete Park Ji-hyun has joined Project B, a startup international basketball league. The league, founded by CEO Geoff Prentice and former tech executive Grady Burnett, plans to establish separate men's and women's circuits consisting of six teams each with 11 players per team. Project B intends to offer female players equity in the league and higher pay than the WNBA. To avoid conflict with the WNBA schedule, the inaugural season is scheduled to run from January to April 2027 with tournaments held across Asia, Europe, and Latin America, including confirmed stops in Tokyo and Valencia, Spain.
Project B has attracted high profile leadership and investment. Former WNBA star Alana Beard serves as chief basketball officer, while retired NBA MVP Russell Westbrook is the chief strategy officer. Investors and advisers include tennis star Novak Djokovic and NFL legend Steve Young. Other WNBA players, such as Alyssa Thomas and Nneka Ogwumike, have also committed to the league.
As part of its launch, Project B will host a training camp at the Park Hyatt Seoul in Gangnam from January 6 to 12 next year. Park Ji-hyun, who is the third South Korean to play in the WNBA and a former Rookie of the Year in the Women's Korean Basketball League, expressed pride in welcoming international teammates to her home country. Alana Beard praised Park as an exceptional representative of Korean basketball and noted that Seoul's energy makes it an ideal location to build the league's foundation.
