Elon Musk's SpaceX has announced plans to build a massive new rocket launch facility called Starbase Louisiana. The project involves a 100 billion dollar investment and is intended to be the largest spaceport in the world. Located in Louisiana, specifically in the Vermilion Parish and Pecan Island coastal areas, the site will cover over 50,000 hectares.
