- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Telangana Minister Vakiti Srihari performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on Krishna Mohan Raju, the personal secretary to senior IAS officer Naveen Mittal, after Raju collapsed on the Telangana Assembly premises in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Raju, a 50 year old section officer in the energy department, collapsed in a corridor during an ongoing Assembly session. Minister Srihari intervened immediately to perform CPR before medical staff on duty arrived to provide emergency care. While one report stated that Raju was shifted to a hospital for further treatment with his condition awaited, another report stated that efforts to revive him failed and he died while being taken to the hospital. That report added that he is suspected to have suffered a cardiac arrest. The Telangana Secretariat Association expressed condolences following the incident.
