Israel Police reported that a terrorist was neutralized early Friday morning after attempting to attack security forces near Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. The assailant, a man in his 30s, was shot by officers stationed in the area and was declared dead at the scene. Police confirmed that the knife used in the attempt was located.
