- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" became the fastest film to surpass 8 million admissions in South Korea this year on Friday, according to its local distributor. The film has held the number one spot at the box office for 24 days since its release on August 5. This milestone was reached two days faster than "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" and "The King's Warden," both of which took 26 days to reach 8 million admissions, according to Universal Pictures.
Based on Homer's epic poem, the film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, the Greek king of Ithaca, and features a cast including Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Charlize Theron and Zendaya. The movie currently ranks third in total admissions for films released in South Korea this year. It is expected to soon overtake "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," which had approximately 8.3 million admissions as of Wednesday.
As of 7 p.m. Friday, "The Odyssey" showed continued momentum toward 10 million admissions with an advance booking rate of 67.4 percent and over 556,000 advance ticket reservations. The film is the first in history to be shot entirely with IMAX film cameras. These IMAX screenings have been particularly popular, leading to issues with ticket scalping.
