Meanwhile, the final season of Hacks enters the night with 24 nominations, with Jean Smart viewed as a strong candidate for best actress, which would tie her for the most acting Emmys of all time. In the limited series category, contenders include Netflix's Beef and HBO Max's DTF St Louis. The ceremony will be hosted by Mariska Hargitay and broadcast via TNT, HBO Max, and Sky Atlantic. According to that report, only 22 non white actors or presenters were nominated, marking a 21 percent decrease from the previous year and the lowest number in 15 editions. Cris Abrego, the first Latino president of the Television Academy, acknowledged that the nominations do not fully represent the diversity of modern television.
