- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
A father and his two daughters, aged 53, 25, and 12, were killed on the spot in an early morning traffic accident involving an immigration truck in Kuala Lumpur. The 55 year old mother survived the crash but sustained serious injuries to her head, right hand, and both legs, requiring treatment at Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
According to police, the accident occurred around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Jalan Bukit Bintang. A 43 year old man was driving an empty Isuzu Black Maria truck toward the Chow Kit district to collect undocumented migrants. Authorities believe the truck entered the intersection with its siren and beacon lights active while the traffic light was red. The truck collided with a Proton Saga that had the right of way, causing the truck to lose control.
The vehicle then struck a family of four pedestrians and a stationary Inokom Matrix car. While the center left source focused on the casualties of the crash, the center right source provided detailed police accounts regarding the truck driver's mission and the specific sequence of traffic violations.
