US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced on Thursday that the Trump administration will impose sanctions on a large, unidentified bank this coming Monday. The move is part of an ongoing effort to apply economic pressure on Tehran to end a conflict between the United States and Iran that has lasted more than six months. Bessent stated during an appearance on Real America's Voice that the action was originally planned for Friday but was delayed to respect ceremonies marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks.
