  • A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.

Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Kyiv on Sunday for their first official visit to Ukraine since the start of the war. The visit follows a meeting on Saturday in Moscow where the two representatives spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin for more than three hours. The diplomatic mission is part of a renewed effort by the Trump administration to find a solution to the conflict. Upon arrival by train, the envoys were met by high ranking Ukrainian officials and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at St. Sophia Square. Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is ready for a constructive discussion and is interested in bringing an end to the war, provided there are security guarantees and a just postwar peace. Following the meetings with the U.S. emissaries, Zelenskyy indicated that further sessions would be held with national security advisors from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. In Moscow, Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov described the talks as useful and constructive, noting that the U.S. team presented a series of considerations for a possible agreement. The discussions in Russia also reportedly touched upon economic issues and joint projects between the U.S. and Russia. To facilitate the visit, Putin ordered a three day pause in Russian attacks against Kyiv. Zelenskyy similarly expressed readiness to suspend attacks against Moscow through Monday. Despite these tactical pauses, reports indicate that aerial attacks continued in other regions. Russian forces launched over 100 drones and missiles overnight into Sunday, while Ukraine targeted Russian border regions. Some reports note that the U.S. push for peace has lost momentum recently due to the administration's focus on a war in Iran. Expectations for a breakthrough remain mixed, with some officials suggesting the conflict could continue into 2027.
