- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

President Donald Trump will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks at the Pentagon rather than attending the ceremony at Ground Zero in New York City. According to sources, the change in plans stems from the National September 11 Memorial and Museum's policy, in place since 2012, which prohibits politicians from delivering speeches at the Manhattan site to remain nonpartisan. Trump reportedly informed his team that he wished to give remarks, leading to the decision to visit the Pentagon where such speeches are permitted. Vice President JD Vance is expected to attend the Ground Zero ceremony in his place.
Initial plans through August 14 had suggested Trump would attend the New York City memorial. The president is also scheduled to visit Ireland on September 12 and 13 to meet with embassy staff and business leaders, as well as to attend the Irish Open golf tournament at his Doonbeg course. This schedule follows a two day Republican party convention in Dallas.
White House spokesperson Anna Kelly stated that the president will use his remarks to remember the victims, honor their families, and pay tribute to first responders. Trump has attended the Ground Zero memorial in previous years, including in 2016 and 2024, and visited the Pentagon and Shanksville during his first term as president.
