Darren Conway, 52, pleaded guilty at Wood Green Crown Court to 11 charges including voyeurism, possession of extreme pornography, and encouraging another man to sexually abuse his unconscious wife. The court heard that Conway was part of an online forum used to connect individuals involved in organized sexual offending and domestic abuse. This forum was discovered in October 2025 following the Gisèle Pelicot case in France, which led to a national coordination group led by the National Crime Agency.
According to the indictment, Conway solicited naked images of sleeping women on at least 10 occasions between 2023 and 2026. Evidence from his devices showed he encouraged other group members to engage in drug facilitated sexual offending. In one specific instance, he urged a man to remove his wife's clothing and commit sexual offenses against her while she was unable to provide consent, later requesting images of the assault.
Commander Andy Day of Scotland Yard described the actions as shocking and noted that the offending put women at risk in their own homes for Conway's sexual gratification. Tracy Easton, the chief crown prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service in south London, called the organized drug facilitated sexual assault abhorrent. Police stated they are continuing to identify other potential victims from footage found on Conway's devices, noting that some victims may be based overseas.
Conway, who appeared in court wearing a grey tracksuit, will be sentenced by Judge John Dodd KC on October 30.
