British Prime Minister Andy Burnham and US President Donald Donald Trump spoke on Monday and agreed on the need to continue working toward a ceasefire to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. The discussions occur amid heightened tensions following an attempted drone strike at Leipzig airport in Germany. The UK and other allies blamed Russia for the attack, which targeted a major freight hub used to support the Ukrainian government. While Moscow denied involvement, Mr. Trump stated last week that Mr. Putin is not looking to attack Nato territory.
