Ukraine has launched a series of drone strikes against Russian infrastructure, targeting grain export terminals, oil refineries, and logistics warehouses. In the port of Taman on the Kerch Strait, drones caused significant damage to a grain terminal controlled by Demetra and hit a sunflower oil facility owned by Efko. These attacks have contributed to the paralysis of maritime traffic in the Sea of Azov since July 10, forcing Russian exporters to redirect grains via trucks and trains.
Additionally, Ukrainian drones targeted Wildberries warehouses in the Penza region, Udmurtia, and Perm Krai on July 30. The strike in Perm Krai is noted as the farthest-reaching attack on a Wildberries facility, located approximately 1,400 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. One person was injured near Penza. Ukraine claims these warehouses are used to store dual-use goods and drone components. Since July 18, at least 14 such facilities have been targeted.
Other targets included one of Russia's largest Lukoil-owned oil refineries and Kazakhstan's oil export gateway in the Black Sea. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that its air defenses shot down 258 Ukrainian drones overnight on July 30 across various regions, including occupied Crimea and the Azov and Black seas.
