- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
Ukrainian drones targeted a logistics center belonging to Ozon, Russia's second largest online retailer, and an oil refinery in the Samara region during a wave of attacks on Saturday. Ozon confirmed that operations at its Chapayevsk hub were interrupted and that more than 500 employees were evacuated. Ukrainian forces claimed responsibility for hitting the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery, which caused a fire. This marks the first known attack on Ozon, following previous Ukrainian drone strikes against its competitor, Wildberries.
Russian authorities reported multiple civilian casualties across several regions. In the Krasnodar region, officials stated that three people died, including two children, during an attack on the port city of Yeysk. In the Belgorod region, two people were reported dead and 13 injured, while four others were wounded in Bryansk. In the Russian controlled Luhansk province, two civilians died, including a 16 year old teenager. In Samara, an elderly woman was reported dead. The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have shot down 457 drones during the night.
These events followed a Russian drone and missile attack on Friday that hit a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. Ukrainian officials reported that at least 16 people were killed and over 130 were injured in that strike. Further Russian attacks on Saturday targeted Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, resulting in at least two more deaths in Ukraine.
Outlets with a center lean generally presented the events as a mutual intensification of aerial warfare. Center left sources emphasized the strategic nature of the Ukrainian campaign against economic infrastructure that supports the Russian war effort. Center right sources focused on the rising death tolls and the specific impact of the strikes on civilian areas and commercial hubs.
