- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
At least five people were killed and ten others injured following a Ukrainian drone strike on an industrial site in Chekhov, located approximately 69 kilometers south of Moscow. Regional Governor Andrei Vorobyov reported that the attack caused fires at a warehouse and damaged an electrical substation and an administration building. While officials did not explicitly confirm the target, Ukrainian media and other reports indicate the site is linked to Wildberries, Russia's largest online retailer. Seven of the injured are in moderate condition and one is in serious condition.
Additional strikes targeted Wildberries facilities in the St Petersburg and Tver regions. A warehouse in the Samara region was also reported as completely destroyed. Kyiv asserts that these depots supply the Russian military, a claim that Moscow denies. Russia's defense ministry stated it intercepted and destroyed 320 drones overnight.
In Chekhov, some residents expressed frustration over the lack of air raid warnings and a lack of knowledge regarding the location of bomb shelters. Meanwhile, Russian strikes across Ukraine killed at least four people, including an 89 year old woman in Mykolaiv and a woman and two girls in Sumy.
Separate reports detailed a drone strike on a beach in the Krasnodar region that killed seven people and injured 58. While some Ukrainian channels suggested electronic warfare caused the drone to crash, a regional governor accused Ukraine of a deliberate strike on civilians. Both nations deny targeting civilians intentionally.
