Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan received a death threat via an unsigned communication that included two mobile numbers. The message stated that he would be killed shortly by hardcore terrorists. Paswan is currently protected by nationwide Z category security cover.
In response to the threat, Paswan's additional private secretary wrote to the home secretary to highlight the matter as one of grave concern.
