US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that the Trump administration is evaluating sanctions against airlines, the maritime sector, and digital assets linked to Iran. Speaking during a G20 meeting in North Carolina, Bessent stated that the goal is to economically asphyxiate the Iranian regime.
