US Vice President JD Vance Discusses End Times and Spiritual Warfare in Podcast Interview

US Vice President JD Vance spoke about the possibility of the end times and the presence of the Antichrist during an interview on a podcast hosted by evangelical influencer Bryce Crawford. Vance stated that he is attempting to do God's work to the best of his abilities and said that if this leads to the end times, it is okay. He noted that while he does not know if the end times have already begun, he believes they are inevitable, whether they occur in a few months or thousands of years. Vance added that he would not be surprised if the Antichrist is already among humans. He specifically cited certain uses of artificial intelligence as being somehow satanic, mentioning a case where someone sought marriage advice from AI as an example of bypassing the human social component. Vance also mentioned feeling dark energies or spiritual alarm bells during meetings with some international leaders. Regarding Donald Trump, Vance claimed that the former president's survival of an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania was a result of divine intervention. He further asserted that if Trump had been killed, it would have been the work of dark forces as part of a wider conspiracy. Additionally, Vance defended Trump against criticism over an AI generated image that depicted the president in a Jesus like manner, stating that Trump has a good sense of humor. In the interview, Vance estimated his own chance of entering heaven to be around seven or eight out of ten, noting that he would have rated it five or six a year ago.
