Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Every outlet covering this story shares the same political lean; read with that in mind.

A Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787-9 flight bound for Hanoi returned to Munich Airport on Saturday after taking off late and experiencing technical issues. No passengers or crew members were injured during the incident. According to airport officials and reports, the aircraft took an unusually long time to lift off, resulting in the plane leaving the ground after the end of the runway. This action caused the aircraft to kick up dust and scrape its tail on the ground.

Following the takeoff, the crew reported tire pressure indications and dumped fuel before landing safely about 90 to 120 minutes later. Upon landing, the aircraft suffered damage to its tires and landing gear, which left the plane immobilized on the runway. This caused the northern runway to be temporarily closed, leading to flight diversions and potential delays.

Vietnam Airlines stated that the crew followed established procedures and that the company is working with authorities to determine the cause of the incident. The German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation has been brought in to assist. Passengers were evacuated from the aircraft on the tarmac and returned to the airport terminal.
