- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
A magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck Colombia on August 10, resulting in 185 deaths and prompting a wide range of donation efforts from artists, sports teams, and content creators. The seismic event has triggered a national mobilization to provide aid to affected communities, particularly in Chocó, Buenaventura, the Eje Cafetero, Valle del Cauca, and Antioquia.
In the music industry, the band Morat announced two initiatives during their six scheduled concerts at the Movistar Arena in Bogotá. The group will donate a portion of their concert income to repair schools in affected regions and has established four donation points at the venue to collect funds for UNICEF. Additionally, artists such as Lamine Yamal and Ryan Castro have joined efforts to send aid, while other high profile figures including Shakira, Karol G, Maluma, J Balvin, Camilo, and Juanes have used their social media platforms to support victims.
In the sports sector, the soccer club Independiente Santa Fe announced it will donate a percentage of ticket sales from its Copa Sudamericana match against River Plate, rescheduled for August 19, to earthquake victims. The club is also collecting monetary donations via a bank account and physical goods at the Casa Cardenal in Bogotá.
Digital creators have also organized logistics for aid delivery. Julián Pinilla, known as the boy in the ruana, converted his restaurant, La Tierrita del Berriondo, into a collection center. Pinilla has secured three trucks and one 35 ton tractor trailer to transport supplies, specifically emphasizing the need for aid to reach Chocó and Buenaventura due to difficult access and communication in those areas.
