Zheng Qinwen advanced to the fourth round of the US Open after a remarkable comeback victory over 22nd seed Madison Keys. Zheng won the match 1-6, 7-6 (7-3), 7-5, despite being down 5-0 and facing a match point in the third set. The Chinese star, who had to compete in the qualifying event to reach the main draw, became the first qualifier to reach the women's fourth round at the US Open since Emma Raducanu in 2021.
