  • A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.

Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

The Administradora de los Recursos del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud (ADRES) will hold a virtual session this Friday, September 4, at 10 a.m. to explain how victims of the August 10 earthquake can request financial compensation. The session aims to clarify who is eligible for these payments, the necessary requirements, and the correct procedure for filing claims. Eligible victims may receive up to 750 daily minimum legal wages, with each minimum wage equaling COP 58,300. ADRES will provide two types of recognition: indemnities and funeral expenses for deaths or permanent disability, which require certification from the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD), and payments for health services including emergency care, surgeries, and rehabilitation. The earthquake, centered in San José del Palmar, resulted in 331 deaths, 4,519 injuries, and 36,336 destroyed homes. Recent data from the Colombian Geological Service indicates a complex seismic dynamic following the event. Researchers identified over 260 aftershocks near San José del Palmar and a separate seismic swarm of over 900 events concentrated in Sipí, Istmina, Medio San Juan, and Litoral del San Juan.
