Atlético-MG advanced to the semifinals of the Copa do Brasil after defeating their rival Cruzeiro 2 to 1 on Tuesday at the Arena MRV. The two teams had previously tied 1 to 1 in the first leg at the Mineirão. Kaio Jorge opened the scoring for Cruzeiro with a penalty in the 30th minute.
