Rescue workers in Cali have confirmed the death of 29 year old Valentina Vanegas Galiano and her 23 year old brother, Juan Esteban Vanegas Galiano. The siblings were found deceased under the rubble of Torres del Limonar, a five story building in the Capri neighborhood that was severely damaged during the earthquake on August 10. Valentina, an architect, was found six days after the event. Her husband, Juan David Gomez, and their baby, Salomon, were previously rescued from the same site. Salomon suffered minor scrapes and a hematoma, while Juan David is recovering from surgery. Both remain stable under medical observation. The rescue of the father and son occurred after rescuers heard a voice from the debris stating, "here I am with a baby."
