Ceagesp Launches 14th Fish and Seafood Festival in São Paulo

The 14th edition of the Ceagesp fish and seafood festival has begun at the company's gastronomic space in Vila Leopoldina, São Paulo. For R$ 149.90 per person, guests can enjoy an all you can eat selection of 50 dishes through December 20. The event is located at Av. Dr. Gastão Vidigal, 1.946, at Gate 4.

The menu features a variety of options starting at reception with crab shells, sururu broth, and acarajé. The main buffet includes hot dishes such as breaded hake with shrimp sauce, baked cod with smashed potatoes and broccoli, charcoal grilled fish, and Baiana style dogfish moqueca. Other hot options include shrimp in pumpkin, salmon stuffed potatoes, truffled shrimp creamy rice, and paella. Accompaniments include plantain farofa, fish pirão, vegetables, and rice. Non fish options such as pork knuckle and German sausages are also available.

Cold dishes and salads include classic or vegan mango ceviche, sea tartare on guacamole, shrimp mayonnaise, baby potatoes with leek, and squid with black rice. Additional cold items include roasted pineapple vinaigrette, chickpea with confit cod, and butter beans with roasted pumpkin and smoked ricotta. Outside the buffet, there are stations for fresh oysters, crab dishes, and fettuccine with shrimp and Grana Padano parmesan. Waitstaff also serve grilled shrimp skewers, fish strips, shrimp stuffed with Catupiry, and fish burgers with tartar sauce and cheese.

Beverages and desserts are sold separately. Children up to five years old enter for free, while children aged six to ten pay R$ 74.95. A 20 percent discount, reducing the price to R$ 119.92, is available for individuals who have undergone bariatric surgery and provide a medical report or card. The festival operates Thursday and Friday from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
