British driver Ollie Millroy was rescued from his burning Ferrari by fellow competitor Loek Hartog during a China GT race on Saturday at the Shanghai International Circuit. The accident occurred early in the race when Millroy's vehicle was involved in a high speed collision and burst into flames. With no safety marshals or rescue crews immediately available, Hartog stopped his car and used a fire extinguisher to help Millroy escape the wreck. Millroy was later hospitalized with a bruised lung and fractures to his collarbone, hand, finger, and five ribs.
