Spanish cyclist Enric Mas expanded his lead in the general classification of the Vuelta a España during the 14th stage. Mas finished 4 minutes and 12 seconds behind the stage winner, increasing his advantage over second place rider Felix Gall to 2 minutes and 6 seconds. The next stage will cover 189.7 kilometers from Palma de Rio to Cordoba. It is expected to be a day for breakaway riders as it features three third category climbs.
