The production company Go Up, responsible for the film 'Dark Horse' about former President Jair Bolsonaro, has stated that all capital transfers for the project were declared to the São Paulo Court. This statement follows a report by Piauí magazine revealing that banker Daniel Vorcaro transferred an additional 1.6 million US dollars to the film's funding fund in September 2025. This transfer brings Vorcaro's total donations to 12.3 million US dollars and contradicts previous claims by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro that transfers had ceased earlier. Go Up maintains that all resources moved through formal financial channels and were fully allocated to the production, noting that a failed attempt to transfer more funds occurred in October 2025. While the company claims transparency, a report from a center left perspective highlights that a defensive investigative report submitted to authorities does not provide specific breakdowns of spending on actors, directors, or contractors. Furthermore, that report notes a discrepancy regarding a clarification note sent to Piauí. Although the note was sent on behalf of Go Up, metadata indicates it was created by lawyer Paulo Calixto, an associate of Eduardo Bolsonaro. When questioned about this, Go Up partner Karina da Gama provided conflicting explanations and eventually stated the company did not know who wrote the document.
