Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Federal Police reports based on messages from the phone of banker Daniel Vorcaro reveal a series of financial arrangements and favors involving the family of Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes. The documents detail a R$ 131 million contract signed in January 2024 between Banco Master and the law firm of Viviane Barci de Moraes, the justice's wife. Messages show Vorcaro expressed extreme urgency regarding payments to the firm, calling it the most important contract they had and warning that delays would cause problems. A second agreement valued at R$ 50 million involved the transfer of shares in two aircraft to the law firm through a process described as a hidden partnership to avoid formal corporate ties. While the law firm stated this second proposal was never accepted and was extinguished with the bank's liquidation, police reports include dialogues suggesting the aircraft were already in use. Additionally, Vorcaro authorized the issuance of credit cards with limits of R$ 300,000 each for two of Justice Moraes' children. The law firm confirmed the cards were issued but denied they were ever used. Other findings include the organization of a luxury lunch for Justice Moraes in Campos do Jordão in December 2023, which involved a private chef and a singer. Former Communications Minister Fábio Faria confirmed he facilitated the communication between the justice and Vorcaro for the event. Justice Moraes has not commented on these findings.
