- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Supreme Court Justice André Mendonça homologated a plea bargain on Wednesday for businessman Antonio Carlos Freixo Junior, known as Mineiro. Freixo Junior, the owner of Entre Investimentos, was targeted in Operation Compliance Zero, which investigates billion dollar frauds involving Banco Master. In his agreement with the Prosecutor General's Office, Freixo Junior stated that he moved over 1.3 billion reais for banker Daniel Vorcaro between 2020 and 2025, reporting that he delivered cash in suitcases, likely for bribes.
Freixo Junior also detailed seven transfers totaling over 12 million US dollars to the Havengate Development Fund in the United States. These payments were made at the request of Vorcaro. The Federal Police are investigating whether this money was used to finance Dark Horse, a film about former President Jair Bolsonaro. The fund is managed by Paulo Calixto, an attorney close to former deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro. Investigators are also examining whether a portion of these funds was used to support Eduardo Bolsonaro's stay in the United States.
While both reports cover the financial transactions, they differ in framing. The center left source emphasizes the suspicious nature of the payments, highlighting the use of a tax haven in the Bahamas and the potential for bribery. The center right source provides more context regarding the political environment, noting Eduardo Bolsonaro's claims of political persecution by Justice Alexandre de Moraes as the reason for his move to the United States.
