  • A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.

Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Palmeiras played to a 1 1 draw against Mirassol on Sunday, August 30, in a match that allowed second place Flamengo to reduce their deficit to four points. The match took place at the Estádio José Maria de Campos Maia in the interior of São Paulo as part of the 25th round of the Brasileirão. Palmeiras now has 52 points, while Flamengo has 48 points but holds a game in hand. If Flamengo wins their delayed match against Mirassol on Wednesday, they could move within one point of the lead.

The game remained scoreless in the first half. Mirassol took the lead early in the second half when Eduardo scored a header following a cross from Igor Formiga. Mirassol nearly doubled their lead shortly after, but the goal was disallowed for offside. Palmeiras equalized in the 29th minute when Mauricio scored. The match also featured a penalty decision in favor of Mirassol after contact by Giay on Fernandinho, but the referee overturned the call following a VAR review. In the final minutes, Palmeiras defender Arthur was sent off after receiving two yellow cards.

In other league action, Flamengo defeated Botafogo 3 0 with goals from Samuel Lino and Carrascal. This result tightened the race for the top spot. In the standings, Mirassol reached 25 points and moved to 16th place, which pushed Vasco into the relegation zone. Palmeiras is scheduled to face Santos in the Copa do Brasil quarterfinals on Wednesday, followed by a match against Botafogo on September 6.
