At least 10 police officers, 17 suspected bandits, and two civilians were killed during a confrontation in Kebbi State on Monday. The clash occurred around 9:25 a.m. along the Rafin Makuku axis of the Sakaba Area after police intercepted an armed group moving from Zamfara State toward Kebbi. Police spokesperson Bashir Usman stated that two officers were injured and four motorcycles belonging to the attackers were burnt. He noted that casualty figures remain subject to further verification.
