Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

Rob Reiner has been awarded a posthumous Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in the FX series The Bear. The award was announced on Sunday night during the first of two ceremonies previously known as the Creative Arts Emmys, held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Reiner appeared in three episodes of the fourth season as a business consultant. The win prompted a long standing ovation from the audience, which included his friend and fellow guest star Jamie Lee Curtis.
This award marks Reiner's third Emmy, following two wins for his role in All in the Family between 1974 and 1978. This 48 year gap is the longest between acting wins in Emmy history, surpassing the previous record held by his father, Carl Reiner. He is also the first actor to win a posthumous Emmy in an acting category since Raul Julia in 1995.
The award comes nine months after Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found stabbed to death in their Los Angeles home on December 14, 2025. Their son, Nick Reiner, has been charged with their murders and has pleaded not guilty.
Other notable wins from the early ceremonies include the horror comedy Widow's Bay, which took home eight awards including a win for Betty Gilpin. The limited series DTF St Louis won six awards, with David Harbour and Linda Cardellini both receiving trophies. Shailene Woodley won for her role in Paradise, and the cancelled series Spider-Noir received five awards. The main Emmy ceremony, hosted by Mariska Hargitay, is scheduled for September 14.
