  • A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.

Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Russian missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and the surrounding region killed at least 12 people on Tuesday. This marked the sixth consecutive day of strikes on the Ukrainian capital. In Kyiv, eight people died, including seven at a railway depot where six victims were employees of Ukrainian Railways. In the suburb of Boryspil, four people were killed and several others injured when a residential building was hit. President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that an Indian citizen was among the dead. The attacks also targeted the Odesa region, where a thermoelectric plant and a ferry crossing on the border with Romania were damaged, leaving thousands of families without electricity.

Ukrainian officials reported that Russia utilized a significant number of jet powered drones, which are faster and harder to intercept than previous models. The Ukrainian Air Force stated it intercepted 199 aerial targets, including five ballistic missiles and 187 drones, out of 218 drones launched. President Zelensky attributed the casualties to a shortage of air defense capabilities, specifically calling for more US made Patriot interceptors.

Simultaneously, Ukraine conducted drone strikes inside Russia. These attacks targeted the port area of Ust Luga in the northwest and oil refineries in the Samara region. One civilian was reported dead in the Belgorod region. Russia's Ministry of Defence claimed its strikes targeted military and energy facilities.

Diplomatic efforts were reported alongside the violence. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged President Vladimir Putin to end the war for humanity's sake during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit. Other reports mentioned a visit by CIA Director John Ratcliffe to Moscow to urge a rapid end to the conflict.
