At least eight people were injured in Kyiv during a Russian drone attack on September 11. The strike hit a nine story residential building in the Dniprovskyi district, causing a fire. Ukrainian officials reported that Russia launched at least 66 drones across Ukraine overnight, including more than 50 Shahed type drones. Ukrainian defenses shot down or suppressed 62 of those drones, while four struck three different locations.

Simultaneously, Russian authorities reported Ukrainian strikes within their own borders. In Volgograd, two people were injured when a missile hit a residential building. In Saratov, Ukrainian drones damaged civil infrastructure, including a warehouse belonging to the Russian e commerce company Ozon.

This deal exceeds 2 billion dollars and includes a drone production partnership, missiles for Patriot systems, munitions for F 16s, and a 40 million dollar fund for veterans.
