Japan's weather agency issued a Level 5 special heavy rain warning on Thursday for parts of Ishikawa and Toyama prefectures in central Japan. This highest level of warning indicates that a disaster is imminent or has likely occurred. The warning covers municipalities including Himi in Toyama and Hakui, Shika, Hodatsushimizu, and Nakanoto in Ishikawa.
