- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

Supreme Court (STF) Justice André Mendonça has revoked the secrecy of the investigation into fraud committed by Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, and 14 related processes. This action follows a request from the president of the Court, Justice Edson Fachin, who ordered that full digital copies of the records be sent via hard drive to the offices of all ministers. The decision includes the investigation into messages exchanged between Justice Alexandre de Moraes and Vorcaro, which will be judged during a plenary session on Tuesday, October 15. Fachin noted that only specific diligences essential to the investigation may remain secret.
The move is part of an effort by Fachin to resolve a crisis within the Court involving conflicting monocratic decisions. This conflict began when Mendonça released reports suggesting proximity between Justice Moraes and Prosecutor General Paulo Gonet and Vorcaro. In response, Moraes included Mendonça in the Fake News inquiry, alleging partiality. Fachin subsequently removed Moraes from the relatorship of that inquiry and reversed conflicting orders from both Mendonça and Justice Flávio Dino regarding the status of the Federal Police director general. President Lula has praised Fachin's actions while stating that more must be done to bring order to the Court and defending that both Mendonça and Moraes should be investigated.
Additional reports indicate that a Federal Public Ministry servant, identified as Daniel Iost, allegedly attempted to hide his identity while consulting secret procedures to leak information to Vorcaro. The leaked data reportedly helped Vorcaro map investigations involving Banco Master and the Banco de Brasília (BRB).
