- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay announced a full waiver of cooperative crop loans up to 75,000 rupees on Monday. The announcement was made in the Assembly to mark the 100th day of his coalition government in office. Under the revised scheme, farmers with loans between 75,000 and 100,000 rupees will receive a maximum waiver of 75,000 rupees, while those with loans exceeding 100,000 rupees will receive a maximum waiver of 35,000 rupees. This follows a previous waiver of up to 50,000 rupees announced on May 25. The Chief Minister stated that the additional waiver will cost the state exchequer approximately 953.06 crore rupees and will benefit around 13.34 lakh farmers. He noted that 5,267 crore rupees had already been credited to the accounts of 13.34 lakh farmers out of a total waiver amount of 5,932.23 crore rupees. The Chief Minister cited the necessity of safeguarding farmers' welfare and compliance with Reserve Bank of India guidelines regarding the remittance of loan waivers to cooperative banks as reasons for the decision.
