Two Chilean men, aged 23 and 33, were arrested in Osaka on Thursday for the alleged theft of four luxury watches from a shop in Tokyo. The incident occurred on Tuesday in the Nakano Ward, specifically at a store called Time Walker located in the Nakano Broadway building. The stolen items include three Richard Mille timepieces and one Patek Philippe watch, with a combined value of approximately 200 million yen, or between 1.25 million and 1.3 million dollars. According to reports, the suspects used a hammer to break a display case and fled the scene. One of the men was reportedly found with a watch of the same brand as one of the stolen items at the time of his arrest.
