Karnell Kelly, 25, has been named as the man who died after jumping into a canal while fleeing from police near the Notting Hill Carnival. The incident occurred around 3:20 p.m. on Monday when Metropolitan Police officers attempted to stop Mr. Kelly near Harrow Road because he was wearing a face covering. Mr. Kelly fled on foot and entered the Grand Union Canal off Kensal Road while being pursued by officers.
